Earlier today the Academy took a unique approach to announcing the nominations for their 89th Academy Awards, and despite one or two glaring snubs (Amy Adams being snubbed from the Best Actress category for her work in Arrival being the most notable), everyone seems relatively happy with the nominations, which is certainly a nice change.
