Thanks to an exclusive report by Empire Magazine it has been confirmed that lauded director and film-maker Matthew Vaughn will be turning production company Marv into Marv Studios.
Speaking to Empire, Vaughn confirmed that the studio would focus on rebooting the much-loved Kick-Ass franchise. Saying: “We’re going to reboot Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl…Look what Mark Millar is doing with the comic for clues.”
Vaughn also spoke about the Kingsman franchise and confirmed that whilst Kingsman 3 will be the conclusion to the current storyline of characters, a spinoff titled Kingsman: The Great Game will explore the spy world in the early 1900’s. The universe will be further expanded by an 8-hour TV show and a Statesman film which was set up in Kingsman: The Golden Circle and shall follow “the world of Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges and Halle Berry’s American agents” as reported by Empire.
