It’s not quite 65 million years in the making, but to gamers the 15 year wait between Jurassic Park Operation Genesis and Frontier Development’s Jurassic World Evolution may as well have felt that long.
Let’s kick things off with the big hitters. This game is not the game that we hoped it would be, it’s flawed and at times frustrating. But when it hits its stride it hits it wonderfully and it sucks you into the world like few games can. Over the course of my first two full days with the game I had sunk over 16 hours into the title, and as somewhat of a casual gamer that is quite the achievement for me. Particularly when I didn’t feel as though any of those hours were wasted.

With E3 steadily approaching we’re begging to get more and more details about exactly what is going down at the gaming industry’s biggest extravaganza.
After outlining their plans for this year’s conference back in March, Microsoft have now provided further details of what you can expect come June.
Providing the details on Major Nelson’s blog, Microsoft will be kicking things off with their annual Xbox E3 2018 Briefing. Stating that “during the briefing, you’ll have a chance to check out everything from in-depth looks at previously-announced games to trailers for our unannounced titles coming in 2018 and beyond”.

After announcing that Sony expects over 130 more games to make their way to PlayStation VR over the course of the year, a permanent price drop has now also been announced for the console.
Sony has announced that the PlayStation VR bundle will get a permanent price drop to $299 USD / £259.99 as of March 29. This is down from $399 in the US and £349 in the UK.

Until now the 2017 hit Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice had been a PS4 and PC exclusive, but that’s going to change next month.
Game developer Ninja Theory have confirmed the recent rumour that the action game, acclaimed for dealing with mental illness through the construct of Norse mythology, will be coming to the Xbox on April 11.
