Ark: Survival Evolved confirmed for Nintendo Switch

The ever expanding list of Nintendo Switch titles just got a whole lot bigger.

Developer Studio Wildcard has officially announced that a Nintendo Switch version of the 2015 indy-hit Ark: Survival Evolved is in the works.

The reveal was made at the State of Unreal presentation at the annual Game Developers Conference, just days after the developer announced that a free-to-play version of the game is also heading to mobile devices.

Metal Gear: Survive Flops In The UK Charts

The first venture into the Metal Gear franchise in the post-Hideo Kojima era flops hard in the UK

Just 10 years after Metal Gear Solid 4 broke series records by debuting in the UK charts at No. 1 and only 3 years after Metal Gear Solid: V did even better in the charts, the first installment in the franchise since the release of series creator Hideo Kojima has failed to even break into the Top 5 of the UK charts in its first week of release.

UK Video Games Sector Shows Strong Growth

Following on from the news that the UK film and television industry had broken records over 2017, news has broken that the video games sector is following suit.

In a press release put out by video games industry trade association, TIGA, it is revealed that “studio headcounts, wider games industry employment, tax revenues and investment” all passed previous records.
