We’ve been through the Royal Rumble, we’ve witnessed the Elimination Chamber, but there’s one last bump in the road before Wrestelmania… Fastlane (Christ the name sucks)
In terms of build and anticipation it’s going to be hard for WWE to come up with a less inspiring PPV throughout 2018. Rather than feeling like a crucial step in the Road to Wrestlemania akin to the portrayal of Elimination Chamber, Fastlane feels more like an inconvenience.

WWE are travelling down the Road to Wrestlemania and the Raw brand only has one stop left, the Elimination Chamber…
As of the time of writing this there are currently only 5 matches announced for the PPV; the two elimination chamber matches and Nia Jax vs. Asuka. So I’m going to take the liberty of assuming that a Cruiserweight Championship Tournament match and The Club vs. The Revival are added to the pre-show.

It’s the Once in a Lifetime, Ultimate thrill-ride that’s All Grown Up and Going to Hollywood… it’s Wrestlemania!
Bad tag-lines aside Wrestlemania remains to this day the most anticipated event in the wrestling calendar. Bringing in thousands of people from across the globe for a weekend full of wrestling, both mainstream and Indy. Even if the show itself fails to live up to the hype, it’s still almost always a weekend to remember.
