If J.R.R Tolkien can publish a new book 45 years after his death then people really need to stop worrying about G.R.R Martin popping his clogs before A Dream of Spring.
Fortunately, Tolkien has his son Christopher to thank for his latest publication as despite rumours that Beren and Lúthien would be the final publication from the Tolkien family it was finally confirmed yesterday by Harper Collins that The Fall of Gondolin will be hitting book stores on 30 August this year.
The Tolkien Society added some more info, stating that “The Fall of Gondolin will follow the same format as Beren and Lúthien published last year, separating out the story so that it stands alone while showing how the narrative evolved over the years.
